Panama Rose (Rondeletia leucophylla), also called Bush Pentas, is a tropical woody shrub with clusters of fragrant pink flowers. The scent is particularly noticeable in the evening, and the blooms attract butterflies. Allow room for this shrub to grow or prune after flowering to manage its size.

Grow in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing, then during extended dry periods. It tolerates dry conditions once established. This plant is not white porterweed.
