Terms + Conditions of the Inch by Yard Thrive Guarantee



Welcome to Inch by Yard! By using our services, including plant delivery and installation, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities, including our Thrive Guarantee.

1. About the Thrive Guarantee

At Inch by Yard, we are committed to delivering high-quality plants that thrive in South Florida’s unique environment. Our Thrive Guarantee ensures that any plant we deliver and install will remain healthy and flourish when cared for as instructed.

If your plant does not thrive within the first 30 days after installation, we will replace it at no additional cost.

2. Eligibility for the Thrive Guarantee

To qualify for the Thrive Guarantee:

  • The plant must have been delivered and installed by Inch by Yard.
  • The plant must have been cared for according to the care instructions provided at the time of installation.
  • The plant must not have been subjected to neglect, improper care, or conditions beyond reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, pest infestation, accidental damage).

3. What the Thrive Guarantee Covers

The Thrive Guarantee includes:

  • Replacement of the plant: If a plant fails to thrive, we will replace it with the same plant or a similar one of equal value if the original is unavailable.
  • One-time replacement per plant: Each plant is eligible for one replacement under the guarantee.

4. What the Thrive Guarantee Does Not Cover

The Thrive Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Plants purchased under the delivery-only option (not installed by Inch by Yard).
  • Plants damaged by extreme environmental conditions, such as hurricanes, flooding, or frost.
  • Plants affected by neglect, including insufficient watering, overwatering, or failure to follow care instructions.
  • Natural seasonal changes, such as leaf drop or dormancy, that do not affect the overall health of the plant.

5. Reporting a Plant Issue

If your plant is not thriving and you believe it qualifies for replacement under the Thrive Guarantee, please contact us within 30 days of installation.

    • Your name and order number.
    • A description of the issue.
    • Photos of the plant and its installed location.

Our team will assess your request and respond within 2 business days with the next steps.

6. Limitations of Liability

Inch by Yard is not liable for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages caused by plant failure.
  • Losses resulting from conditions outside of our control, including environmental factors and improper care.

Our Thrive Guarantee is designed to ensure your satisfaction and support your gardening success, but it is not a substitute for proper plant care and maintenance.

7. Modifications to the Thrive Guarantee

Inch by Yard reserves the right to update or modify the terms of the Thrive Guarantee at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and apply to future purchases.
