Our 3.5-inch and 5-inch moth orchids share the $20 local delivery rate with three-gallon plants. Mix them together, up to 15 plants total per order, for Florida ZIPs starting with 333. The same-day payment cutoffs apply. Orchid installation and nationwide shipping require a separate quote.

We deliver Monday through Saturday to Florida ZIPs starting with 333. For same-day delivery, place and fully pay for your order before 2 p.m. on weekdays or 11 a.m. on Saturday, Eastern Time. Missed the cutoff? We’ll bring your plants on the next delivery day. We take Sundays off.
Want a hand with planting? Installation adds $10 per three-gallon plant, $20 per seven-gallon plant, or $50 per plant of 15 gallons or larger. We’ll arrange that appointment with you separately from delivery.
A bigger or mixed order?
The prices above are for plants in the same delivery price group, up to the plant limit shown. Mixing price groups, adding garden supplies, or ordering more plants? Get in touch for a quote before checkout. We’ll also help with sizes that aren’t listed here or aren’t clear. Let’s talk about your delivery.
Plants you can look forward to
The plants in our shop are ones we can reliably source. If something unexpected changes, we’ll contact you to choose a substitution or arrange a refund, with your approval.
Smaller plants, shipped to your door
Plants in containers of three gallons or smaller can ship nationwide. Bigger plants stay local for delivery or pickup. Shipping options and prices appear at checkout. Allow up to two business days for us to prepare eligible orders, plus the carrier’s delivery time. If a container size isn’t clear, ask us before ordering and we’ll help you find the right option.
Your plants’ arrival matters to us. If a shipped plant arrives damaged or unhealthy, send us photos within 48 hours of delivery so we can help. Read our arrival and returns policy.
Shipped plants are covered by our 48-hour Live Plant Arrival Policy. Please report arrival problems within 48 hours with photos.

Your Plants May Arrive in Dirty Diapers
Yes. We ship plants throughout the US in diapers. We realize this requires an explanation.
At Inch By Yard, we source living plants—not boxes of tchotchkes that have been sitting on a warehouse shelf. Before a plant travels to its new home, we carefully remove excess soil, inspect the roots, and give the root ball a good soak.
And then we pamper them.
Like literally. We diaper your plants. Because shipping is stressful on plants.

Why diapers?
Adult diapers are surprisingly perfect for shipping plants. They’re soft, lightweight and designed to absorb and hold moisture—which is exactly what a plant’s roots need while traveling across the country in a dark cardboard box.
The diaper helps keep the root ball moist without leaving the entire shipping box soaking wet.
So, your plant may arrive in a dirty diaper.
