Brighten a leafy corner with something a little different. Variegated Shell Ginger grows in lush clumps of yellow-and-green striped foliage, bringing color and texture to a partially shaded garden even when it is not flowering.
Light
Choose partial shade or filtered light, with protection from the strongest afternoon sun.
Soil & water
Use a rich, well-drained soil that holds some moisture. Water regularly during dry weather, keeping the root zone moist without waterlogging it.
Choosing your plant
Select the container size that suits your space. Check the selected option for shipping or local delivery eligibility. This is ornamental shell ginger, not shampoo ginger.
