Soften a sheltered garden corner with Weeping Blue Ginger. Its arching stems carry glossy green leaves and blue flowers, giving this tropical plant a cascading appearance.
Light
Choose partial shade or filtered light, with protection from harsh afternoon sun.
Soil & water
Provide rich, well-drained soil and regular moisture during active growth. Let excess water escape and avoid keeping the roots waterlogged.
Good to know
Despite its common name, this plant belongs to the spiderwort family rather than the true ginger family. Allow room for its arching stems and check current bloom status if flowers are central to your plan.
