Add a leafy rosette to a sheltered planting with Neoregelia Bromeliad. These tropical plants offer foliage interest in garden groups and containers, with color and markings depending on the variety.
Light
Choose bright, filtered light. Sun tolerance varies, so protect a shade-grown plant from sudden exposure to harsh sun.
Soil & water
Use a loose, well-drained bromeliad mix. Avoid keeping the roots waterlogged. For tank-forming plants, refresh the water in the center regularly so debris and stale water do not accumulate.
Good to know
Check the selected variety and size. A mature rosette flowers once, then gradually declines while producing offsets that continue the planting.
