Light requirements
This beauty thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate a little direct morning sun, but too much harsh sunlight can scorch its delicate leaves. A spot with filtered sunlight or partial shade works best to keep it happy.
Soil preferences, including pH and drainage
Begonia odorata prefers well-draining, slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5–6.5). A rich, loamy mix with organic matter is ideal. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot, as it doesn't like sitting in waterlogged soil.
Water needs
Water this begonia regularly, but let the top inch of soil dry out between waterings. It enjoys a consistently moist environment. It also loves humidity, so occasional misting or keeping it in a more humid spot will make it feel right at home.
