Earth Star bromeliads form low rosettes of colorful leaves. Cryptanthus grows in soil, making it a useful choice for small containers and bright indoor displays.
Light
Give bright filtered light or gentle morning sun. Avoid harsh midday sun, which can scorch the leaves.
Soil & water
Use a loose, well-drained potting mix. Water around the root zone when the soil surface feels dry, and let excess water drain away. These bromeliads do not have a central water-holding tank.

Choose Frazzle Dazzle or Bright Pink above. Leaf color and pattern vary by selection and light conditions.
Growth
Plants produce offsets, often called pups. Protect from cold and frost.
