King Sago — Cycas revoluta

A slow-growing evergreen cycad with a stout trunk and a crown of glossy, stiff fronds. Despite its common name, it is a cycad rather than a true palm or fern.

Safety: All parts are highly toxic if eaten, especially the seeds. Keep away from children and pets.

Care: Provide bright light or partial shade with protection from harsh afternoon sun. Plant in well-drained soil and water during establishment without leaving the roots waterlogged. Established plants tolerate dry periods; adjust watering to soil moisture and rainfall. Protect from freezing temperatures. Remove only dead fronds and monitor for cycad aulacaspis scale, a serious pest in Florida.

Choose the container size before ordering. The verified 3-gallon option is eligible for nationwide shipping where permitted. The 7-gallon option is for local delivery or pickup only. Installation availability and any delivery quote are shown at checkout.
