Delivery, shipping & care

Local delivery

This selected container qualifies for $125 delivery per order for 1–6 verified plants within this size tier. The Florida delivery ZIP must begin 333.

Same-day delivery requires full payment before 2 p.m. Monday–Friday or 11 a.m. Saturday, Eastern Time. Later payments move to the next delivery day. No Sundays. Unverified containers, mixed plant/supply carts, mixed delivery tiers, and quantities over the tier's limit require a quote.

Nationwide shipping

This selection cannot ship nationwide. Only plants with verified containers of three gallons or smaller may ship by carrier. Request a local quote or ask about pickup.

Shipping & delivery policy

Installation

Add installation for $50 per plant with eligible local delivery. Installation is scheduled separately; the delivery date is not an installation appointment.

Returns & guarantees

Shipped and delivery-only plants: report arrival damage or an unhealthy plant within 48 hours with photos. Shipped live plants have no routine return window. Inch by Yard-installed plants have a separate 30-day Thrive Guarantee, subject to its care and coverage terms.

Published plants are reliably sourceable. If an unexpected exception occurs, we will ask you to approve a substitution or arrange a refund.

We upload photos of the actual plants selected for you to your order before they ship. You'll have the opportunity to see exactly what is being prepared.

Plants shipped by carrier are covered by our 48-hour National Live Plant Arrival Policy. Report arrival damage within 48 hours with photos; approved claims qualify for a replacement or refund. Christmas Palm (Adonidia merrillii; formerly Veitchia merrillii) — 25 Gallon
A slender tropical palm with arching feather-like fronds and red fruit in late fall and winter. It can eventually reach about 20–25 feet. Single palms are often nursery-planted in groups; please confirm the current trunk arrangement and request photos before ordering.

Care
Plant in a bright, sunny location with well-drained soil, at the same depth as the nursery container. Water regularly while establishing, then adjust to rainfall. Protect from frost. Old fronds fall naturally; avoid unnecessary removal of healthy green fronds. Watch for unusual yellowing and consult a qualified palm specialist, as Christmas palms are susceptible to lethal yellowing.
