Sales & Marketing Specialist at Inch by Yard
Location: Remote or South Florida (preferred)
Compensation: Salary based on experience plus generous commission structure

Inch by Yard is shaking up the plant world with a fresh take on garden shopping—think Uber Eats, but for plants! We source plants proven to thrive in South Florida directly from local nurseries and deliver them straight to customers’ doors, with optional installation. We’re growing fast and looking for a charismatic, plant-loving go-getter to help us sell and spread the word—both in-person and on social media.
The Opportunity
If you love plants, enjoy talking to people, and aren’t afraid to put yourself out there, this role is for you. You’ll help grow our customer base while also serving as the face of our social media. As a sales representative, you’ll earn a generous percentage on every sale you make, meaning the more you sell, the more you earn!
What You’ll Do:
- Sell plants and installations to homeowners, businesses, and garden enthusiasts.
- Manage individually-hosted plant parties
- Educate customers about our services in a fun and engaging way.
- Be the face of our social media – record short videos, post about cool plants, and engage with our audience to grow your sales.
- Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business.
- Attend local events (eg TPIE), local markets, or plant-related gatherings (optional but encouraged).
What We’re Looking For:
- Plant lover – You don’t have to be an expert, just someone who enjoys plants and wants to learn!
- Great personality – You’re comfortable talking to people and being on camera.
- Motivated & self-driven – You’ll manage your own sales and outreach with our training and software and tools.
- Social media savvy – If you already love making Instagram Reels, TikToks, or plant posts, even better!
- Sales experience? Cool but not required. It’s more about your energy and enthusiasm. Selling plants comes very... natural😅
