Compact Red Jatropha is a warm-climate flowering shrub with glossy foliage and clusters of bright red blooms through much of the year. Its compact habit works well as a colorful accent, low screen, or pollinator-friendly addition to a South Florida landscape.
Plant in full sun to light shade in well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing, then water as needed during dry periods. Allow room for air circulation and prune lightly to maintain the desired shape.
