Crape Myrtle - Lagerstroemia x fauriei
Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia) is known for its vibrant blooms and long flowering season (summer to fall). They come in either a single trunk or multiple trunk configuration.
Lagerstroemia x fauriei is a hybrid between Lagerstroemia indica and Lagerstroemia fauriei, known for improved disease resistance, especially against powdery mildew and leaf spot.

- Mature Size: Typically grows 15-20 feet tall with a spread of about 10-15 feet.
Natchez Mature Size: 25-30 feet tall, 20 feet wide – one of the taller crape myrtles, making it ideal for shade and privacy.
- Sunlight: Requires full sun (6+ hours of direct sunlight daily).
- Soil & Watering: Tolerates a variety of soils but prefers well-draining soil. Drought-tolerant once established.
- Pruning: Should be pruned in late winter or early spring to maintain shape and encourage new growth.
