Psidium littorale loves full sun! It thrives in bright, direct sunlight and will reward you with delicious fruits when exposed to plenty of light. It can tolerate some light shade, but the best growth and fruit production happen when it gets full sun. If growing indoors, a sunny spot with lots of light will keep it happy.

This plant prefers well-draining, slightly acidic to neutral soil (pH 6.0–7.0). It grows best in loamy or sandy soils that drain easily. Good drainage is essential to prevent waterlogging, as the plant doesn’t like to sit in soggy conditions.
