1. Service Overview

Welcome to Inch by Yard! By using our services, including our Plant of the Week subscription and one-time delivery offerings, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please review these terms carefully.

Plant Subscription Service: A recurring delivery of hand-selected plants, designed for easy care and suited to South Florida’s climate. Each delivery includes professional installation (if chosen).

One-Time Plant Delivery: Order our featured plant for a one-time delivery, with an option for delivery only or delivery + installation.

2. Pricing + Payments


2.1 Plant Subscription

  • The Plant subscription is billed weekly at a fixed rate, which includes the cost of the plant, delivery, and installation.
  • This rate applies consistently, regardless of the individual cost of each plant.
  • Payments are automatically billed to the payment method on file.

2.2 One-Time Delivery

  • One-time plant orders are billed at the cost of the plant plus a delivery fee:
    • Delivery Only: Rates depend on postal code
    • Delivery + Installation

2.3 Payment Processing

  • Payments are securely processed through our payment provider, Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize Inch by Yard to charge your payment method for any fees associated with our services.

3. Delivery and Installation

3.1 Delivery Area

  • Inch by Yard provides services exclusively within designated areas of South Florida. Delivery availability may vary by location.

3.2 Scheduling

  • Subscriptions are delivered on a designated schedule, and one-time deliveries are scheduled at the time of purchase.
  • Inch by Yard will notify you if any delay occurs due to plant availability or unforeseen circumstances.

3.3 Installation

  • For subscribers and customers who select delivery + installation, Inch by Yard will plant each selection in an appropriate location. Customers are responsible for ensuring the area is accessible.

4. Returns, Replacements, and Thrive Guarantee

4.1 Thrive Guarantee

  • Inch by Yard offers a Thrive Guarantee on all plants delivered with installation. If a plant does not thrive within the first 30 days after installation, we will replace it at no additional charge.
  • This guarantee applies only if recommended care instructions have been followed.

4.2 Returns and Refunds

  • Plants are non-returnable once delivered and installed. Refunds are not provided for delivered plants; however, plants covered under the Thrive Guarantee will be replaced as outlined above.

5. Cancellations and Modifications

5.1 Subscription Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at least 3 days before the next scheduled delivery. Cancellations will take effect for the following billing cycle.

5.2 Order Modifications

  • Modifications to one-time orders or delivery instructions must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance of the delivery date.

6. Liability and Disclaimer

6.1 General

  • Inch by Yard will make every effort to ensure the health and quality of all plants delivered. However, we are not responsible for plants that are damaged due to extreme weather, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions.

6.2 Limited Liability

  • Inch by Yard is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including plant delivery and installation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Inch by Yard’s website, including text, images, and graphics, is the property of Inch by Yard and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property is prohibited.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. We collect, use, and protect your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. By using our services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of Florida courts for any disputes arising out of these terms.
